About Dr. Hall

Frenesa Hall, MD is a physician, wellness advocate, and lifelong student of the connection between mind and body. A Harvard University graduate with a degree in Biology and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina, she brings more than 30 years of clinical experience in internal medicine to everything she writes and teaches.

Throughout her career, Dr. Hall has worked at the intersection of conventional medicine and integrative wellness, helping patients and clients understand that true health begins from the inside out. That philosophy is the foundation of Brain Boss Books.

The Brain Boss series was inspired by Emmet Fox's classic work, "The 7 Day Mental Diet," a text that has influenced thinkers, healers, and leaders for generations. Frenesa adapted its timeless principles into age-appropriate, neuroscience-informed guides designed specifically for children and teens, bringing this wisdom to the readers who need it most.

In addition to her writing, Frenesa is the founder of MD Wellness Soulutions, an integrative wellness practice, and Unrivaled Health Vaults LLC, a health technology company dedicated to putting personal health information in the hands of individuals. She is also a co-facilitator of the ROAR Conference, a transformational event for women seeking to step into their most authentic selves.

When she is not writing or seeing clients, you might find her playing bass in her cover band, cheering for her favorite women's basketball team, or working on her new company, Unrivaled Health Vaults.

Frenesa Hall, MD writes because she believes every young person deserves access to the tools that help the mind work for them, not against them.
